That's because most farang don't recognize a Burmese when they see one. Hint: if it looks like a Thai, walks like a Thai and speaks Burmese, it's probably a Burmese. Lots of them on the BTS. (Laotians are even more difficult to recognize, I can't tell the difference between Thai with a Lao accent from Issarn and one from Laos. Of course, if they talk about ronghmo instead of rongpayaban and don't know what is noina, then even I know) -

Getting a cruiser in Thailand
I'd love to get a Honda Magna VF750 from the 80s but those are hard to come by in Thailand, especially if you want them with a green book and license plate. The same goes for similar bikes like the Yamaha Virago. So I'm thinking to go for models more readily available in Thailand like Kawasaki Boss, Honda Phantom or Honda Steed. I see the Steed is available in 400cc (not so sure about those others) and even 600 cc. I'd love to get people's opinions on these bikes and the best cruiser you can get for Thailand. -

Playing the usual MAGA confusion card now? 😆 Russia did interfere. That's proven fact. Did it significantly affect the election and lead to Trump's victory? There's no scientific way to assess the effect of the interference, and for this reason I never claimed it did! -

Thai Immigration impact of getting added to my wife's tabien baan for her home elsewhere?
Those above would be situations where the Yellow Book might come into play... But the one other situation I have in my mind is potentially easing the opening of new Thai bank accounts in the future if needed, without having to get paid address documentation either from the U.S. Embassy affidavit or Thai Immigration certif of residence. That, and just in general, actually having some form of official Thai ID, which I don't currently have any form of, since I don't have a Thai DL.
