German Man Charged With Theft After Taking Russian Woman’s Sunglasses

When I was a kid, "finders keepers, losers weepers" was de rigueur.

It did tend to instill a sense of responsibility and self-awareness. Some a-hole once nicked my shoes in the school changing rooms.  Solution, nick somebody else's shoes.:coffee1:

Mr. Marcel,

would have been very disappointed if he had been arrested for stealing  my sunglasses! they cost  only 30 dollars instead of those whopping 800

As an aside, Alistair McQueen (MCQ)  designer sunglasses can easily cost way over $1000.

Is he Alexander's brother?

They could do with an arrow on the table to point out where the sun glasses are .

How can sunglasses cost 27 000 Baht ?

Like, its a small piece of  plastic

The most expensive I have found is 350 US.  Also, if they are that expensive and valuable, why does she forget them in immigration?  i would think something that expensive you would not put down on a counter

If I were the policeman or his lawyer, I would be asking for a receipt to show the value.  Somehow also doubt that he thought they were expensive probably thought they looked good and would give them to his next GF.

some guys will be looking for her....they know what she looks like and has money...stay tuned for a new romance scam

They also know the name of the "unidentified" woman from the passport.

Best reporting is at aec-tv

"Theft from a Government Office"

Should've just handed them in over the counter like a good Samaritan would've done.

Look in any opticians shop in Thailand , they have sunglasses for around the US 1000 $ mark , Porsche and Ray bans and other brands

As long as the police are resorting to extreme measures, for such a tiny offense, why don't they fine her for being forgetful and causing another PR black eye for the cops?

They might be prescription sun glasses purchased outside of Thailand.   I have prescription sunglasses that I paid a little more than $600.00 for even after insurance, in the U.S. of A.!
