Can Tho Airport staff return $42,000 to passenger

An employee discovered a suitcase containing VND1 billion (US$42,330) at the domestic terminal of the Can Tho International Airport and returned it to the owner.

On Tuesday Duong Ngoc Tien was collecting luggage trolleys in the domestic arrivals area when he saw a gray suitcase a passenger had left behind on one of them and informed security.

Security officers checked the suitcase and found VND1 billion in it and handed it over to the lost and found division, who returned it to the passenger the same evening.
