Lottery latest! Granddad, 77, gets rich with 12 MB win - promises to buy his wife a house and land for Valentine's

Thai Rath reported with a video from the Muang Rayong police station in eastern Thailand where an old couple had gone to register a 12 million baht lottery win in yesterday's draw.

A very happy Sakchai said he had bought two tickets at a Muang district market after having a dream about cutting grass with a hoe.

 

He had consulted a book about interpreting dreams that had advised the number 714. He couldn't get that number so went for 417.

 

The number 590417 came up trumps.

 

He said he planned to buy a house and land for his wife as a Valentine's gift.

 

The wife thanked him for his gift and said that the rest would be shared out among their four children and grandchildren.

 

Along with some to make merit at a temple near their home.

I have told my wife, (and she has agreed to do the same), that any big win is split 4 ways. 25% to me, 25% to her, 25% to our son and the balance after taxes goes to the house account as it pays the bills and can fund improvements.

 

We will not tell anybody where the money came from.

yes that sounds very sensible, especially if you are old and live in an isolated province.........the RTP will protect you without doubt.
