Apart from anything to do with the house or land, is my wife the next of kin? I think in a normal country she would be.

If she dies before me, and has not made a will, do I automatically inherit all her belongings? Would I inherit her car which is in her name, and if I die first, does she inherit my motorbike, which is in my name?

You get 50%.

But anything that was purchased after marriage you already own 50% of that, so 75% of the home would be yours, etc.

We have been together for 16 years, and married for 11 of them, but I bought the house and car in her name before we got married.

Think you find with out a will.her money gets split to family and you get a cut... Of yours and her assets. Still seems probate has to get involved

So only 50% for you then.

Her children/parents/siblings get the other 50%.

Yes, but what about her truck which is in her name, and my motorbike which is in my name and I die first?

Truck, 50% for you, 50% for her rellies.

Your m/c 50% for her, 50% for your rellies (if she admits you have any).

If she makes a simple will and gives everything to you, then that's that.  All the yad-pee-nawng (family/relatives) don't get anything.  Simple
