Daily News Thai Caption: Revenge shooting

Daily News reported that loud music and noise from a motorcycle set off a man who strode into a neighboring stall and shot his brother-in-law dead in the head.

It happened at the market and food area just outside the Rot Fai Park (Wachirabenchathat Park) in Chatuchak, northern Bangkok late yesterday afternoon.

Bang Sue police and Ruam Katanyu rescue services found Pinyo "Kai" Phianthong, 46, from Ayutthaya dead from a single shot to the head. It happened at the Sukanya fruit drink stand.

The shooter was Wichit "Saneh" Kanyeunyong, 67, his brother-in-law who was waiting at the scene to surrender with the .38 revolver he used. He runs a coffee stall close by.

The shooter's wife Pornrudee said that the two men had had a mutual hatred of each other for ten years but her husband kept it to himself.

But he was set off when Kai had been drinking and playing loud music all afternoon then revved his old motorcycle loudly.

Sukanya, 50, the wife of the deceased confirmed this and said that Wichit had strode into her stall area and shot her husband in full view of a younger relative.

Wichit was charged with premeditated murder and having a weapon in public.

He had a previous shooting offence to his name, noted the media.

ASEAN NOW notes that the area of the shooting is very popular with visitors to the park who grab a snack and rent bicycles there.

The area would have been crowded on a Sunday afternoon.

The final straw.

And still had a gun !  But I can empathize with the guy, I would like to shoot a dog near me that constantly barks so loud I can't even hear my TV. These dumbwits have no thought for anyone else

Complaints have been laid several times to them and authorities. Authorities turned up on mass last week after my wife complained again. They have TEN dogs, but two houses next to each other and apparently you are allowed 5 dogs per household,

They make NO effort to stop the barking, I can't even go near MY gate without it barking at me, or anybody that passes.

Shoot it and the owners. ????

Sister in law lives on a nice Sansiri estate, all nice and quiet. That was until somebody moved in with over 30 dogs in the next soi, after months of complaints he still has most of them claiming it's his right. The noise is unbelievable at times.
