Sanook Thai Caption: Special needs child attacked

Sanook reported on several videos on the Internet and Instagram that featured an attack by four young people - three women and a male (at birth) - on a special needs child.

The first clip featured a male straddling the victim while a female says that the victim would be able to see the video on their "story".

It was not stated why the attack took place.

In another clip one woman tried to limit the attack but a female assailant said there was no blood and continued, threatening to kill the victim by strangulation with a belt if the victim cried out.

Na Pho police said that the attacks happened on the night of the 27th February, Monday this week.

The victim had borrowed a motorcycle and shoes without asking then been taken to a park where they were told not to contact parents.

The matter was reported to police on Tuesday when the mother took her child to hospital and was then followed by the original assailants who did nothing further.

But the mother wanted protection from the police fearing further trouble.

Police are hunting those responsible.

It was unclear in the Sanook article as to whether the victim was male or female.

Comment was rife on social media among groups associated with the people involved.

Spineless cowards!

Nothing new - normal, but they were a bit short handed, only 4 of them.

Calling them spineless cowards is an insult to spineless cowards. This is absolutely the lowest of the low. Sometimes I can see the need for corporal punishment. These four would definitely deserve it.

crual people... but I am wondering what a special needs child is.... It can be many things, why not just tell what the matter is... Maybe they should do the same with the three what they did with the child...and a bit harder because they are grown ups, and probably also in special need of a brain
