Digitalbanana
Was reading a news headline "Zone 2 screening points on the west side will be closed from 12am on April 27 to 12am on May 24. Zone 2 screening points on the east side will ..." so how does the RE-ENTRY Permit process work now? I always used to get mine in Zone 2 before? DrJack54
Pass immigration and from airside walk back to reentry permit office. Many have in the past having used fast track lane.
Digitalbanana
Would be interested to read someones real experience, on Twitter today people saying Zone 2 already closed so wondered if the re-entry permit office is accessible?
khunjeff
"Screening points" is referring to the security check upstairs. Each security zone (2 & 3) has two sides, east and west, so they're closing one side at a time to replace the equipment. The immigration area on the floor below shouldn't be affected. 1
BritTim
It is absolutely certain that arrangements will be made for those intending to get re-entry permits while Zone 2 is closed. I would suggest just asking immediately before entering the Immigration area. Years ago, it was done at the Immigration office near the check in lines and before passing through security. Maybe, it will temporarily return there.
