Must be a regional thing.....mask wearing is becoming minimal in Pattaya supermarkets. Probably more needed outside!

Considering pollution levels of late, outdoor use may be an idea. Could change to the pollution type with a breath out valve.

Not like the absurdity of mass surgical / cloth mask wearing that's still occurring in many parts of Thailand ( for no good reason) , and now, not occurring almost anywhere else in the world. Like you say -some regions are unmasking faster than others, but it can't come soon enough.

Since people rarely walk around with a meter of their own perhaps precautionary wearing required. I do not see this ' surgical / cloth mask wearing that's still occurring in many parts of Thailand ( for no good reason) ,' you are on about. Calm down and let people make up their own minds. They will quit when ready... your thoughts on the matter do not concern them, nor even seem rational ATM. Not exactly the country's biggest problem... that might be pollution, we need more masks!
