Thai Rath reported on the mysterious death of a woman in Surat Thani, a case that quickly turned into a murder inquiry.

 

Suphannika, 28, from Phun Phin district was found dead in a house in Bang Baimai sub-district by Muang district police.

 

She had been badly bruised all over her body.

 

Jamnian, 70, the owner of the house where the body was found in bed, said that the relationship of her grandson Suphachai, 31, and the victim had been a stormy one.

 

It had gone on for years but there were no children from the relationship.

 

They argued frequently, she noted, a sentiment that was echoed by the victim's mother Raerai, 62, who noted her son-in-law's kratom tea drinking and ganja smoking habit.

 

The hunt is on for Suphachai.

I hope you realize I was bein facetious in my reply as you were in yours.

 

You are absolutely correct in regards to parenting. Family values don't seem to hardly exist anymore. Both parents are working so Little Johnny can have those $300 Nike or the latest iPhone. They have no idea what Little Johnny is doing.

 

As for education, I've always felt that school is nothing more than a social event for many and don't take it serious enough. Then they go in debt in order to go to a prestigious university only to be partying and majoring for some Liberal Arts program but crying for the government to eliminate all student loan debt.

Pot-smoking and kratom drinking really turns people into murdering machines....

I occasionally drink Kratom Tea and occasionally smoke a 'before bed-time' bowl of bud.

I can assure anyone who asks that that combination doesn't turn me into a raging, genocidal maniac.  On the contrary, like back in the SF Haight-Ashbury days - "Peace and Love man!" ☮️

What is more likely is a combination of methamphetamine and/or alcohol.  Tweekers and drunks can go ballistic in a heart-beat over just about nothing.

However there is a major PR push to demonize 'gun-cha.'
