A store owner is searching for customers who accidentally transferred more than 10 times the actual amount due.

 

The Facebook page "แห้วซีฟู๊ด ปูดอง หัวปลาหม้อไฟ" (Hua Seafood Pudding Pot on Petchkasem Road) posted a message seeking customers who had overpaid for their meals.

 

According to the post, a customer transferred 20,183 baht instead of the correct amount of 2,018 baht.

 

The owner of the restaurant is urging the customer to contact them to arrange a refund for the overpayment.

 

 

Customers can contact the store through the Facebook page "แห้วซีฟู๊ด ปูดอง หัวปลาหม้อไฟ" to receive their refund, reported Daily News.

 

Since the post was made, it has received a lot of attention and support from online users all around the world.

WOW! An honest businessman. Not the norm these days. They will get my business whenever I'm in town. Love it!!!

A couple of years ago, a restaurant we used to go to on a regular basis gave us an envelope when we sat down. Inside was 300 baht, apparently on our previous visit they had overcharged us by that amount and put the money aside for us to repay on our next visit. 
Unfortunately they didn’t survive Covid or we’d still be their best customers.

Noto worry, they will come rushing in once the they get their monthly statement i'm sure, but again, kudos to an honest trader in the land of flim-flam practice.

The correct marketing works every time...

It's not in my area otherwise I would have looked them up and given praise where it was due with my custom.
