IMO the bar girls won't like having to pay tax on "earnings"

Do you think they will declare every encounter, usually cash transactions? ????

They will if they have to give receipts.

....and who will police that?

1. Short time sex     1500 baht

2. Taxi fare               200 baht

3. Somtam                40 baht

????

Quite the "family oriented" country they are advertising these days. They didn't gain any more single male tourists with this announcement but most likely lost a lot of families who will take their money elsewhere. They should have just left it at status-quo and kept it out of the headlines. They weren't enforcing any current rules anyway.
