77kaoded reported that police in Sa kaeo province in eastern Thailand had arrested a man after he illegally brought in Russian pigmeat from Cambodia.

 

Tanaphon, 29, comes from the Non Din Daeng district of Buriram. His pick-up was confiscated too.

 

 

There was 3,600 kilos of pork belly.

 

The Klong Had police and veterinary staff carried out the inquiry.

 

The suspect was charged with contravening the moving of carcasses regulations and not paying tax as well as conspiracy.

 

The Russian pigs were buried deep underground.
