Gee Bangkok Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Hi A question please , I returned to Thailand 15th Jan 2023 left again 6th April. I did my report online expecting it to be rejected due to I'd left the country. But had email from Immigration asking I "report to the nearest immigration office" . I'm going ask at airport immigration on my return. Any ideas or thoughts please? Thanks again Gee Anylease. contact the nearest Immigration Office in person immediately.
Popular Post Myran Posted April 14, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 14, 2023 Why would you do a 90 day report if you're not in the country? The report is due every 90 consequtive days you stay in the country. The count will start at 0 when you re-enter the country. Doubt it will cause any problems. 2 3
Seppius Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Did you get a re-entry permit? if not you will have to start over
Popular Post chang50 Posted April 14, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 14, 2023 They must be mystified as to why you were reporting feom outside Thailand. 3
Popular Post UWEB Posted April 14, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 14, 2023 Why so many people just don't understand the 90 days reporting System? 2 2
Gee Bangkok Posted April 14, 2023 Author Posted April 14, 2023 Yes I think I should have not done it. Yes a re entry permit. My question is what do you think I should do? 1

My question is what do you think I should do? I don't think you need to do anything. The message you got is the standard, automatic reply that is generated any time an attempt at an online 90 day report fails. Since you didn't need to do a 90 day report in the first place, there's no need for you to report to immigration. 4 1 1

When you return start your 90 day clock on date of entry. Try online report anytime from 75 day count. Remember to change entry date if you use autofill. 3 2 1
Skeptic7 Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 You don't need to do anything, as mentioned directly above. 1

scubascuba3 Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Presumably when you did the 90 day report you put in your foreign address, that would have been interesting 1
