Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has floated the idea of building a prison near Disney's Florida theme park.

 

The threat, made smiling, came as he vowed to take new steps to assert state control over the special district that oversees the media giant's property.

 

The Republican has been fighting with Disney since last year, when the firm criticised a Florida law curtailing gender and sexuality education.

Republicans used to be business friendly.  DeSantis is clearly business hostile, with a childish resentment and gross sense of entitlement in terms of using government to get even with those who have offended him.

 

Businesses considering locating in Florida will take note.  Apparently DeSantis doesn't care, he hopes to be in the White House and to leave the problems he's creating in Florida for someone else to clean up.

You would think that a Yale undergrad, Harvard Law grad would be smarter than this clown.

This wouldn't be the first time a fascist came to power with the support of a dedicated, violent minority.
