My testereone is low .high 100's

Unfortunately Dr won't prescribe but there are test clinics .

Please tell me those if you over 55yo who inject testereone.

I have been told the injections promoteston are better than gels etc

How do you feel now ,feelings etc

Is the injections go into your bum cheeks ,how much ml per week do U use at your age ?

Are you scared of prostrate cancer?

Do you feel less depressed ?

What about your libido sex drive?

And one other question, when I go back to Thailand in July for my holiday can I possibly get a doctor there legally to prescribe this to me ? After a blood test of course all done legally

My test levels recently were under 200

There are pharmacies that provide testosterone, i understand knuckle draggers come here for Roid holidays. If you can't inject yourself a clinic will probably do it for 100 baht

No I want to see a real doctor who will test my blood and legally prescribe it .

I guess I may have to look into a specialist in Bangkok ?

I'm going back to Thailand in July

In Pattaya many go to Dr Olivier in Jomtien for roids. There's also a testosterone clinic on Klang but it's not exactly impartial. You could test your blood at Lifecare Lab first

You cannot get prostate cancer from an increased testosterone level.  But if there are cancer cells present in your prostate, an increased testosterone level can encourage those cells to grow/replicate.

Recently I had a prostate cancer 'scare' which luckily turned out to be benign nodules in my prostate.  But prior to that diagnosis I did wonder if my use of injectable testosterone over the past few years had caused cancer cells to multiply/grow in my prostate.

The idea of trt is to keep your serum levels stable , doing 250 mg every 3 weeks will mean your testosterone level will spike and the crash , im prescribed 150 per week split into 3 injections . Bloodwork you should get done is total testosterone , shbg , free testosterone . My total level is now at 725 , and free testosterone is at 14.5 , The whole prostate thing is over played and widely used to scare as it was based on 1 test decades ago and in not relevant in anyway . Biggest improvement has been sleep quality and mental alertness . It take time to dial in a dose as its not a 1 way fits all , most doctors treat numbers which is criminal when symptom resolution should be first and foremost when it comes to hormones .

There is progress in dosing advises, and frequency, but I leave that for the dr to advise him in the beginning, and then he can start investigate himself later, when getting bloodwork done and see the results and also have experience as well reading medical science based articles about trt. There is alot of information, and also if you look here in the forum, but as everything on internet, there is to much info, and to many experts.

I have been doing everything from Subq injections to Nebido, gel and Andriol testo caps. Now doing gel because my dr back home still do not want to give me injections. And gel is working well for me. But in Thailand I do one injection 250mg and really do not feel the high or low.

To answer op on afraid of prostate? Im not, my psa is around 1, and have been same since I started. The only side effect I have, is when to low, I get a little bit moody and my skin gets a bit irritated.

Sex life is like 35 years old again.

Have you tried another doctor or clinic?

Depending on where you go, there is one clinic I can advise you to use and have personall experience since 2017. In the beginning you will have great experience with gel and Android testo caps the original one and not the Thai copy.

There is no specific universial dose with injections, but 250mg Bayer enenthate every 3 weeks is average dose. Some do every two weeks, some do every 4 weeks, depending on you and your tests/blood work

At Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok

What's the average cost please?

I've heard these jabs are extremely expensive in Australia.

Everything is expensive there of course, but how about locally? Thanks.

The bloodwork on hospital included dr, range from 5000, baht to 9000,- First time bloodwork and screening 9000, follow up depending on what they want to test.

I buy my own test about 250 baht 250mg ampule.

Maximum clinic charge 11000 baht a month with follow up if you join their program. Not 100% sure their prices now.

I have only used them for bloodwork, and it was 9000,- baht, and they gave decent advises. Did not push additional medication or their products on me. Quite extended bloodwork they do.

At 71 my libido has taken a dive, with a relatively young partner (mid 40's) I would like to be able to enjoy close sexual contact again, would Testerone injections help in this department ??

Do you drink booze  , doing strength exercises ,hows your diet , are you overweight ? Fix any of these issues , injecting test isnt going to miraculously fix libido .

250mg testosterone in a 1ml vial  . im not going to say whether that is the right dose for u . you need to see a dr to gauge what is best for you based on your symptoms , its take a while to dial in the correct dose based on how YOU feel , and not solely based on your bloodwork

You could always try tadalafil / cialis at 2.5mg per day

Why did  you take testosterone? i thought men often did it to increase libido and you have said a few times you aren't interested in that

You don't understand - It is Over-The-Counter (OTC) here in Thailand and legal.
What you need is a endocrinologist who can make recommendations.  The testosterone at the pharmacies is going to be significantly cheaper than the identical drug issued by the hospital's pharmacy.  Unless you enjoy paying extra money when it's not necessary.

How is the gel administered? How many mg is in (??) most packets? How long as it last and how does it compare to the injections in so far it is the longevity? Since it's gel I'm going to assume it's a weekly thing. Are there Thai brands and if so any good?

What are the tests you need to determine low testosterone /prices? What are the tests that you need to do as you continue a program?

I'd read that synthetic T your body stops making T and your balls shrink and you lose ability to make T forever?

Correct.   I have a low T level which is a genetic condtion in my family.  My father had low T. my brothers do and my sons do.  One effect of low T is lack of upper body muscle mass.  So even 25 years ago I had slow-releasing testosterone implants in my side muscle of my abdomen.

When I started injecting Bayer testosterone, indeed I increased my libido, but the desired effect of increased upper body muscle mass came through, so long of course as I did exercises for those muscles.

I stopped injecting testosterone about 6 months before my prostate cancer 'scare'.  I won't go back onto testosterone.  So I guess I'll soon look like a skinny old man!!

Testicular atrophy is a side effect of exogenous T but that can be staved off with use of HCG (Human chorionic gonadotropin). One's stones will also continue to produce testosterone. Not easy to find, though.

Most do specialists do not recommend HCG, unless you are going to have babies in future. The side effects vs benefits is not there two independent at Anti aging wellness center st Bangkok Hospital and Maximum in Pattaya. In my opinion they should know what they talking about.
