onthedarkside Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 A 2018 Senate investigation that found there was “no evidence” to substantiate any of the claims of sexual assault against the US supreme court justice Brett Kavanaugh contained serious omissions, according to new information obtained by the Guardian. The 28-page report was released by the Republican senator Chuck Grassley, the then chairman of the Senate judiciary committee. It prominently included an unfounded and unverified claim that one of Kavanaugh’s accusers – a fellow Yale graduate named Deborah Ramirez – was “likely” mistaken when she alleged that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a dormitory party because another Yale student was allegedly known for such acts. Popular Post herfiehandbag Posted April 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2023 What, it cannot be, the Supreme Court selection process tainted by political shenanigans, surely it cannot be so! I mean, I simply cannot bring myself to imagine how the ethical standards adhered to by this fellow, after all he is a lawyer, could be compromised in such a way as to lead to him obscuring the truth! 1 1 4

HappyExpat57 Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Anyone who followed the story at the time knew it was a sham. I'm glad to see people are getting fed up to the point that the pendulum, however reluctant, is swinging back towards sensible politics. 1 1

I feel very sorry for Mr. Maxey, unjustly smeared and presented as a scapegoat by those trying to get sex offender Kavenaugh confirmed. Disgusting behavior. 1

Purdey Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Hopefully, the aforementioned documentary will have sufficient factual evidence to impeach. Voice recordings, interviews with witnesses, false testimony by Brett Kavanaugh. Remember him telling the Senate Roe v. Wade was ‘settled as precedent,’ then changing his mind after ascending the SCOTUS? hope he gets his just desserts.
