Surprised they didn't find a child on their way that was lost and united the kid back with the parents! Anyway, good job!

And the Old Couple from Europe who left their life 's savings on the back seat of the taxi, but they managed to track them down and reunite them with a great photo OP!

Thailand’s Tourist Police received praise in Thai media for assisting a French tourist and a Canadian tourist in need of help in Sa Keao province in eastern Thailand yesterday.

Pol. Lt. Col. Jiraphat Khaewsiri, from the Sa Keao Tourist Police force, lead a patrol yesterday when he spotted a foreign woman walking along the Suwannasorn Road. As soon as she noticed the police, she flagged down the car for help.

The tourist, 27 year old Coline from France, asked the police officers for help to get to Buriram province. Coline said she was travelling in Cambodia before entering Thailand via the Ban Khlong Luek land border in Aranyaprathet district, reports DailyNews.

The officers picked up Coline and dropped her off at the Aranyaprathet Bus Terminal so she could take a bus to Buriram province.

On the way, the patrol car passed another forlorn-looking foreign tourist along the Sa Keao – Chanthaburi Road. The tourist, 75 year old Randolph from Canada, revealed that he was trying to return to his condo in Pattaya in Chon Buri province but had run out of money.

After inquiries, the police officers found out that the French tourist, Ms. Coline, had traveled from Cambodia to Thailand and needed help getting to Aranyaprathet Bus Terminal to travel to Buriram Province. The patrol car took her and her luggage to the bus terminal, ensuring her safe travel to her destination.

She obviously got wind of the pitfalls of using a taxi service.

To be honest, there are good and bad in every society. The Tourist Police are better than most.

why ?

Having crossed the border from Cambodia, maybe the French lady was on her first visit to Thailand and was unfamiliar with the surroundings.

Saw a man and woman Farang @ 20s hitch hiking… which I thought was strange.. in US hitchhiked in 60-70s but now days to dangerous…. Guess if you had a pick up could put them in back with no access to the cab… imo far to dangerous in these days and times….  Bad planning if you can’t afford a bus or train ride
