Renowned Thai Monk Predicts National Turmoil and "Big Tu" Returning as Prime Minister

The respected "Phra Kru" or "Maha Phut Phan On" of Chiang Mai anticipates challenging times for the country following the elections, with protests emerging and the nation entangled in a continuous cycle of conflict. He envisions "Big Tu" returning as the Prime Minister, leading a government amidst the unrest.

 

On May 7, Phra Kru Amorn Thammatat, abbot of Wat Phan On in Phra Singh subdistrict, Chiang Mai, also known as "Maha Phut Phan On," shares his predictions about the nation's future every year with notable accuracy, reported Thai Rath. 

 

His forecasts have attracted a substantial number of followers annually. For the upcoming major elections, he predicts that the outcome will shape the country's direction and determine its leadership. 

 

He has not focused on individual candidates, but rather the difficulties that will arise within the country following the elections, such as ongoing protests. 

 

As he had predicted earlier in the year, the country would face challenges, disagreements, and protests. The peace and happiness of the people in the country will dissipate, and Thailand will remain entangled in a continuous cycle of conflict.

 

However, he foresees the individual who has been managing the country, or the same person, returning once again, albeit accompanied by the unrest that will ensue. 

 

Both major parties, Future Forward Party and Pheu Thai Party, have no chance of winning because the majority of the votes are held by the 250 unelected senators who will not support them. 

 

As a result, there is a high probability that Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha will return to form the government once again.

I think he's bang on the money.

 

I'd expect some manufactured protests, maybe a bit of violence which will all be solved when the "good people" retake power to restore the good name of Thailand and return happiness to the people (again).

Good to hear that..... It means that TAT will miss their targets of tourists, it means that Thailand economically will go back, it means the country will make any progressing in any way.. people will get poorer, more household debts, etc... and it will lead to worse.....

I have yet to see the country fully and truly return to peace and happiness.  Thailand's been caught in a cycle of conflict during its last several decades.  Somehow they need someone who is capable of uniting the masses including the old-school folks and the younger folks.  This country has been divided not only in its politics but by a long standing not spoken of class system.

i think any level-headed person with basic knowledge of democracy and military juntas would be able to arrive at the same conclusions without turning it into some divine revelation
