Hi, I just returned from Malaysia after a border run. I want to book a flight back to the UK in mid June. I got my 30 day visa on arrival stamp yesterday.

 

Could I go to IT Square Laksi (Bangkok immigration) in the next day or two to get my 30 day extension, or is it too soon after my arrival? I want to be sure I can be here in June before booking a flight.

 

Any advice much appreciated.

 

 

Normally 30 day extension would be issued in last couple of weeks of expiry of your stamp.

Don't worry about being approved for extension.

It will be issued.

Yes you can apply for an extension anytime during your initial 30 days 

This tends to vary by immigration office, but @DrJack54is correct that the last couple of weeks is typical, and I think that guideline is used at Laksi.
