Why is she going, what is the point, she is just an ordinary MP?

Ex-PMs have a large amount of public money available to spend (115,000 pounds/year for life).

Foreign travel with the occasional speech is considered a legit way to use it.

According to your way of thinking, the Tories are anti-Tory too,

As a govt. spokesperson noted: “We wouldn’t get involved in the independent travel decisions of a private citizen who is not a member of the government.”

Can you please explain how being critical of  Truss going against UK Government policy on China is anti-Tory?

Given that the Tories don't support Truss's venture, it's not surprising that it can't be explained how being against Truss' trip to Taiwan is anti-Tory.

Please refrain from introducing logic into the argument.

Seriously, using logic is a lost cause with Transam. He doesn't engage in debate, just repeatedly repeats the same statement, it is really rather pointless try to discuss anything with him that goes against his in built beliefs.

Truss may be daft and clueless, but she's not an idiot.

The people who voted for her to become Prime Minister are the idiots!

Roll on the general election so that we can get rid of this showers of incompetents forever.
