Day-to-day life in Myanmar
Small update: I'm flying back to Myanmar next week I think. Due to the worsening electricity situation (it's always been bad, but now it's terrible), I've been packing my solar charger unit, 2 12v DC/220v AC inverters, solar/hand-cranked torch, rechargable LED lamps etc. I'll buy a car battery and solar panel when I get to Yangon. My updated app is in review with Google Playstore, so hopefully that will be up and available very soon 🙂 My new salaried job might involve teaching 4-year olds! (This is because no-one else apart from young pretty females) want to do that. I'll also teach other older grades. I've taught this 4-year old age group before, so it's not a problem, in fact that young age is a good age to get the phonics correct. However, I'm no 'babysitter', and if any of them wets themselves (as they occasionally do), then I will happily delegate the cleaning up to my pretty local teaching assistant in the class lol! -

Live every day as tho
Michael,74,, fit as a fiddle,lean,fit and healthy,said my goodbye to him well over a year ago on cancer detection.had over a year of treatment in UK. Came back to th,meet up with him again to be told he died last month..heart.unbelievable.cannot get my head around it all.i should be dead many times over,so damned sad -

They are not always agents, some are from schools or companies who like to do as many teachers/employees in one go. Usually agents are fast tracked, there is no sitting down and waiting, the passports/envelopes are handed over the counter. Don't ask me how I know. -

Roaming dog pack
Yes, I do....I rescued a dog that a team of 3 men were sent to dispatch....The dog luckily took refuge under my car as they and a policeman were trying to capture..... I picked up the dog & refused their demands for it as curious neighbors watched..... It was a direct confrontation & they were not sure what to do....They backed down & left.... I found a neighbor that would take him in and. "Jack" now had an owner..... His crime? He bit a boy in a bicycle.....The back story is 4-6 boys just got bicycles and would chase down the dogs & run them down with their front wheels while the dogs were trying to escape = the dog bit in self defense.... Jack is the kind of dog that rolled over for belly rubs every time he'd great someone he trusted.... My Bankeau is also a street rescue..... Somebody knife slashed his rear leg about 11" worth, taking many stitches..... It was told to me that the killers get a dog - tape his mouth shut and their legs together & toss them in a garbage truck.....They claim whatever the bounty is..... These guys had netting & were intent on taking Jack.... They obviously were not used to having a Farang stand up to them..... Jack & Rusty are happy domestic dogs now.... Save your toxicity for someone else....
