Documents verified by MFA must book online?

Featured Replies

I need to have some documents verified by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Chaeng Wattana. The website says the nearest appointment is in June.
I never have had to wait so long before. Has anyone been up there recently? Do you still need to make an appointment or can you just turn up?

Thanks.

I was at Department of consular affairs of MFA last month. I had an appointment time 11:01-15:00. I showed up there about 10:00am, was waiting in long que to get my ticket number. My ticket number was 123 and about 70 people in front of me. I was waiting there more than 4 hours to get to officer desk. While waiting I saw the other guy was holding number 185, so I think its nearly impossible to show up there without appointment.

Is there only one office in Bangkok ? Do other cities have an office ?
