webfact Posted June 4, 2023 Share Posted June 4, 2023 Pattaya – A man who claimed he knew an important politician allegedly dined and dashed at a Pattaya area Thai restaurant, leaving a bill of almost a thousand baht unpaid for. Mrs. Jinwara Rebedef, the owner of the ‘Kin Kab Kia’ restaurant on the Thepprasit Road told the Pattaya News about the incident along with presenting reporters with CCTV footage. On Friday (June 2nd) a well-dressed Thai man came into the venue and ordered food and drank multiple beers. He talked with her claiming he was working for a local politician and said he was waiting for his boss to pay for his bill. At times the suspect went to the front of the restaurant for a smoke then came back into the restaurant.
