Hammer presents the working class and sickle the farmer.....As much as I don't like the party, I don't see a problem with this.

The hammer and sickle represent communism, which most people have a problem with, as they should.

More specifically it is referencing the symbol of the "Restart Thailand" campaign.......run by the Free Youth Group, the group that was at the core of the Pro-Democracy protests of 2020.  The Sickle for R the Hammer for T.

They're still linked to communism (so bad) and a big reason that the democracy protests lost traction and fizzled out.

Communists co-opting campaigns for democracy (the opposite of communism) are never going to do anything good.

Why is the guy on the top left wearing a bra?

They're ticking boxes to try to get as much support as possible.

"We're communists, we're trans, all the good stuff!  Vote for us!"

True that. They won the vote now let the people get the government they voted for. If they are no good then vote them out next time. Socialist or not they have been elected. Let the will of the people prevail. Socialism is only a dirty word to some people.

Careful.  Communism and "vote them out" don't really go well together.

Demilitarise, Demonopolise and Decentralize is the motto Move Forward took to the election. Only a fool could conclude they are a communist after hearing their stated goals.

So are they admitting that the Illuminati exists in Thailand? And being a member is seditious?

And what about Ironman and the  other guy wearing a bra? What do they  signify?

I think it is called an "oxymoron"!  (in more ways than one I might suggest!)

On the bright side, no swastika to be seen, that's always a relief around here.

Further, is the EC authorized to decide what symbolizm is OK in electioneering? And on same point is the EC authorized to decide what party policies are allowed?

The real answer is NO and NO, but ...

De-this-military...They'll build their own professional military. De-monarchy. Centralize...left always centralize. Give money for the poor and tax the middle class till they die. And decarbonize which is deinustralize.
That might not be their plan, but that is the way it will end....+ warmongering. Myanmar, Cambodia, China, Russia

for the love of god, how manyy different ways can move forward shoot themselves in the foot.

The "Party' will be fine - they always are

It's non-members and the perceived rich that should be worried

Communism is a pretty easy sell in a country where most have next to nothing

this is meaningless if they get disbanded. If th party doesnt forma govenment, the party will not be fine.

Unfortunately they are behaving more like the opposition rather than the countries elected leaders.

I like them, but I'll be interested to see if they can reduce inequality without raising (or introducing) taxes that are significant and unpopular.

What a waste of time and money. Why don't the EC just ban the party, ban Pita from politics for the rest of his life because "we want to and that is what our bosses told us to do so we can keep our lovely military dictatorship for ever".

This sums up the issue perfectly:

"One of the things that I did, when I was still a revolutionary socialist, was try and prevent people from exercising freedom of speech and thought.  It came naturally to me, because I believed that what I thought and desired was so good, that anybody who disagreed with me must, by their nature, be evil and deserving of being silenced."

Sadly, not something completely unfamiliar.  Some would call this very idea a Nazi White Supremacist conspiracy theory, simply to silence people.

Would you care to share the source of that crap!
