Given with all the Taxi, jet ski rental, mafia issues, and such,  u can deep-six HKT next to Atlantis.    Never go there again.

Look at the pricing and all questions are answered. For a hop from one to the next beach you pay anything between 600 - 1'000 Baht to the cabbie. 400 Baht take you from downtown Bangkok to the airport and there are taxi operators getting you from Bangkok to Pattaya (130kms) for 1'200 Baht.

And that is only taxi, the same applies to many restaurant, bars and some hotels. Your call ????

Phuket has always had a low, low season.

Out of Bangers book flight, book rental car, only way to avoid the taxi mafia.

Always amazed me that the Transport Dept never intervened, or do they get a cut like the RTP?

Message for TAT It is low season, wake up, quit being greedy.

Thailand always has low season this time of year.  I just hope the air fares drop a bit for high season in October to April.

Where I stay, the guest house rates are still pretty good.

Funny how they make visas so hard to get and So, it feels like they want you out of their country and then are talking about tourism is low. You can't have your cake and eat it.

When you see the traffic situation in Phuket, you think you‘re in the middle of the high season. It‘s just crazy!!

Nearly all tourists arrive visa exempt or obtain a visa on arrival.

50 Chinese airplanes with half a million passengers are on their way...

Wow. Big planes. 500,000/50 = 10,000 passengers on each one.
