A 15 year old boy is so scared of a school bully that he has refused to attend school for three years, finding refuge in his bedroom for the past three years. The teenager is now getting help to overcome his fear of the school bully.

Officers from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security visited the boy’s home in the Na Thap Hai sub-district, Ratanawapee district, in the Isaan province of Nong Khai on Monday, June 19.

The boy refused to talk with the officers but agreed to have a health check before returning to his bedroom.

The boy’s mother, Jiraporn, revealed that she divorced her husband in March 2020. She and her ex-husband had four children together: two daughters aged 23 and 20, who both married and moved to other provinces while she remains at home with her 15 year old and four year old sons.

Sad. Another case of bullying to blame. Schools have become dangerous places. Two M2 student murders due to bullying, in different schools, in the last month. How can the homeroom teachers let things get to this stage without earlier intervention?

Why not expel the "school bully" ?

The family has alot to answer for,   they should have looked into this at the start and visited the school head and discussed the issue,  the kid is entitled to an education,  the bully if confirmed needs a good swift kick up the ars_ ......   problem solved.

I found out that a teacher at my sons private school in Thailand was bullying him! My wife wisely kept it from me till we left Thailand as I would have gone through the teacher and quite possibly had my own article/thread here on Thai visa "British Parent derating, humiliating and beating Thai teacher to a pulp for bullying his 9 year old son!!!" I've always hated bullies!
