Once immigration officials start improperly denying entry, it is unpredictable when it might happen, so yes.

At BKK airport, is it generally safer to join the queue of a male or female IO and a younger or older IO?

  • Visa runs are not illegal. If it was illegal they wouldn't let people back into the country. Visa runs are most definitely legal.

  • Visa runs aren't illegal. As long as an IO admits you and you don't violate the conditions of your stay, it's perfectly legal. Not really suitable for a long-term stay anymore, but still.

  • Where does this accusation come from? There is no fraud here, completely legal and transparent. Why don't you schedule a call with me and tell me what you think you know? Accusing people of fraud publ

Seriously you are asking weird questions.

In this forum folk just repeat what they read..eg "avoid female immigration officer" .

You have been given lot of advice in various threads.

Push the boundaries and accept refused entry.

It's not holdem poker.

You'd be best off avoiding Bangkok's airports altogether. Assuming you can get consecutive METVs, entering by land should be fine, just fly to a neighboring country.

Why is it better to enter by land? is it almost impossible to be denied entry at a land border?

It's obvious

Refused entry at land border you have option.

If refused entry by Thai immigration via air upon arrival you are flown back to point of departure.

Can end in world of pain

An AN poster (Russian?) recently posted that Russians can do unlimited visa exempt land border bounces.  Strangely, Russians can't do 30-day extensions on the visa exempt. A Russian couple told me this.  Unlimited border bounce / no extensions?

This is how it is. Russians CAN do unlimited land border bounces, but they CANNOT get 30-day extensions on visa exempt. It is a different bilateral agreement between Thailand and Russia, not like with other Western visa exempt countries.

It's all a lottery. What I used to do while in the line was to gauge who 'appeared' to be the friendliest i.e. avoid the IO's who were stern faced when stamping people through.
