Primer for tile over tile installation

Hi all!
Looking for a primer, or another proper Thai solution , to prep a ready tiled floor for installing a new tile layer on top of the old tiles. 
Something like MAPEI Eco Prim Grip or similar. 

Current floor was installed properly, flat, level and decent, but the tile layout is absolutely hideous...
Take out the existing floor tiles first, and start from scratch seems a lot more work. 
I've looked at Thaiwatsadu, Homepro, DoHome, Homesukkapan and Global House but couldn't quite find something suitable. 

Any recommendations what and where to look for ?

Not much found, I've noticed the Nippon Tile Primer  at Thaiwatsadu and Lazada, but this seems more a primer to paint over?
Or would this also be suitable to bond a cement based adhesive for tiles?

This was used for tile on tile in our bathroom.

As far as I know, no primer was used.

 

No issues 4 years later.

 

Edit to add: Seem to recall that they scored the old tiles, using an angle grinder, before laying the new ones.

Product specs look promising, thank you very much for the tip.  
Prepping the old tiles with the angle grinder I prefer to avoid for not getting so much dust, but well, a man can not have everything...

Are you doing it yourself? 

 

How many doors will you have to trim?

One teak wood door. And yes will do most of it myself.

I have tiled over glossy floor tiles with the Gold Crocodile Cement made for that purpose. I did not use any sort of primer and never had one problem or issues.

Ditto,I hired a local tiler and I didn't actually get too deep into it but he did an excellent job and I get many compliments on the work. Over 10 years ago zero issues.

Depends on the area, but just cross hatch the original tiles, with a grinder (Diamond blade).

about to do the same, any update for finding a  tile primer here?

Ive done  it angle grinding the walls and using  Weber Tai flex https://www.th.weber/en/webertai-flex

Used it in a shower floor  without problem but would  still prefer a  primer .

Australia  use  sika NPP..............which isnt available in Thailand!!

I want to retile a bathroom top to bottom. I just figured on taking out the old tile first was the only option. Am I wrong?????

If the tiles are  well stuck down you dont need to remove them, tap  them to see if they sound  hollow as many Thai tilers are crap hollow ones need to be removed, Ive just found this primer made by Davco and available in Thailand for non porous  tiles ie shiny ones  https://aus.sika.com/en/construction/tile-stone-installationsystems/primers-additives/davco-ultrabond.html

Failing that run an angle grinder over the tiles if they are  glossy at a  shallow  angle ie not the usual vertical position, make sure you clean the tiles down really well, you dont want ANY  dust at all. After youve cleaned the walls  wet ypour finger tips, run them over the walls, if you get dust on them they arent clean enough

Keep in mind, you'll need to trim your doors and trim and whatnot. 

 

Unless I were doing it myself, and was certain the existing were sound, I would not consider it. 

 

You can always hit it with a grinder to knock the glaze off and just go with thin-set.
