I feel you. I've been like you all my life.

I took the nomad path. I know it's a form of escapism but I don't care.

For a year now I've been traveling all over SE Asia, I went to different parts of Thailand, Malaysia and Laos - most of the time hiking in nature.

I travel on the cheap and make the money I need online.

It's not gonna lead me anywhere but that's ok.

Society bores me to death and I know I'm not alone in this.

The meaning crisis in the West has just begun imo.

Soon we'll be legions. Legions of neo dharma bums :))

Wow you got me. I may look into treks.

Wrong place to ask as most people on this forum are bored and depressed.

You think someone with 20,000 post has a fulfilling life?

Maybe 2 or 3 guys can have some ideas. The others are more bored than me.

Exploring new roads

Coffee

Walking up hills for view

My gf

Things i dont like

Everything else

Not a bad list. I would replace coffee with chocolate and I am not into photography. But I relate to the idea of having a good woman and a bit of space to breathe.

The thing is how you can fund it to make that into a sustainable lifestyle.

Do sports for a month, less Leo and then, tell us again. I think it is a personal problem. I wonder why blame the people around you.. depressing, nuts, bored.. I can see that for your attitude to life and negativism.

I'm extremely bored with life when not travelling. I have things to do but don't enjoy it. I see people do less than me but seem happy doing next to nothing. They just watch crappy movies and the like.

I can drink with a mate but he's depressing. I can drink with a female friend but she's a nut. I can hang out and talk shares with another but that bores me. Another friend lives far. Others I know are busy. Their lives look boring to me but they seem happy but you never know. A mate told me he's been depressed for 15 years and I couldnt tell.

So what the hell should i do? Be a full time nomad? I cant see how that works.

Or just watch crap movies like these other morons?

I don't know.

If I had the cash that's exactly what I would do. Otherwise I'd be bored.

Where would you go?

That would depend on how much money I had :). If unlimited cash, everywhere. My immediate dream is to have a car and just travel in Thailand. I live in an area of Pattaya where I can walk everywhere. I could afford a scooter but I'd rather get the exercise.

Trains are cheap. Phattalung and NST are cool.

Sure, but I want to go everywhere I can. I'll probably wind up renting a car for a month or two sometime and put a few miles up on it.

The OP doesn't "need advice". He's abusing this forum to post troll replies to everyone.

He is asking for advice on that, I think.....????

You can be content doing nothing, they made a show about it, Seinfeld.

Maybe stop searching, give up trying to find something just go day by day doing what you feel like doing

OP

Life is just not a continual Holiday filled with Parties and pretty Girls

Most of the time it is mundane and yes, maybe boring

You just have to accept that and lead as full a life as possible

Happiness is like a butterfly; the more you chase it, the more it will elude you.  But if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder.
