Former President Trump on Monday was indicted on criminal charges for a fourth time since April, adding details and accused co-conspirators out of Georgia to a by-now familiar prosecutorial narrative that upends presidential history and challenges American politics.

Trump was charged in Fulton County, Ga., along with 18 alleged accomplices, with leading a criminal enterprise to try to stay in office following his loss in the 2020 elections. He faces 13 felony counts brought by District Attorney Fani Willis, including violations of the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, as well as conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree and conspiring to file false documents (The Hill and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution).

The Georgia indictment alleges a web of conspiracy in multiple states designed to subvert the will of voters to try to keep Trump in office after he lost.

▪ The Hill: Breaking down the Georgia charges.

▪ The Washington Post: Read the full text of the 98-page Georgia indictment.

▪ The Washington Post: The Georgia indictment cites Trump’s online posts to allege evidence of acts in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy.

Among those indicted along with the former president are Rudy Giuliani, once New York’s mayor, and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, a former North Carolina congressman (The Hill).

They'll all plead insanity. The jury will accept that.

Let the back stabbing commence..............

A former federal prosecutor explains why some of the 19 defendants in the Georgia indictment may not go to trial

"It won't be 19 defendants, because what will start to happen is we'll see movement. People will plead out because they will be given good deals," she said. "People will flip and plead guilty and become cooperating witnesses. So people will start to get out of the case, we won't end up with 19."

Recall back in 2021 when the DT cabal was assessing how they would handle legal charges, it was leaked (by Don Jr, I think) that Meadows was being set up as the fall guy.  (Ironically, on the fictional series Succession, at that time, the same problem was being dealt with.)  Let's see if he returns the favor.

Miz Willis announced at the press conference that all those named have until Friday the 25th to turn themselves in, after that the warrants go out.

The real question for the Trump supporters is whether they believe the facts presented in the indictments are false

OR

yeah, Trump did it, but he should get off because he's special.

This one is particularly perilous for Trump and friends:

  • If convicted, it carries a mandatory, non probationary, prison sentence.
  • The hearing may be televised.
  • No presidential pardon is allowed.

For those unfamiliar with the RICO law (including myself, until I watched it), this is a very good explanation:

Trump vows to release ‘irrefutable’ report exonerating him in Georgia election-tampering case

Donald Trump claimed Tuesday he will share an “irrefutable” report next week proving there was 2020 presidential election fraud after being indicted for allegedly tampering with the race’s results in Georgia.

The former president announced on Truth Social that he will present the “CONCLUSIVE Report” to the media at a press event Monday in Bedminster, NJ, where his Trump National Golf Club just hosted a Saudi-backed LIV golf tournament over the weekend.

“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week,” the current leading 2024 GOP presidential contender wrote.

So, despite the fact the the Georgia vote was counted, not once, not twice, but 3 times, including once by hand, and that 2 forensic teams hired by the Trump campaign, found no significant evidence of fraud, this time it's for real. MAGA!

The person who composed the report was one of the people ex-President Trump read to from a document he acknowledged was classified.

In the mean time I reckon they've still got plenty up their sleeves.

Special counsel obtained Trump DMs despite ‘momentous’ bid by Twitter to delay, unsealed filings show

Special counsel Jack Smith obtained an extraordinary array of data from Twitter about Donald Trump’s account — from direct messages to draft tweets to location data — newly unsealed court filings reveal.

But it took a bruising battle with Twitter’s attorneys in January and February — punctuated by a blistering analysis by a federal judge, who wondered whether Elon Musk was attempting to “cozy up” to the former president by resisting the special counsel’s demands — before prosecutors got the goods.

I don’t discount the possibility of Trump presenting the reasons why he was rushed in the middle to the night to the Walter Reed Hospital to be administered the Montreal Cognitive Test.

It’s perhaps his only chance of not being locked up.

And it's not just Trump advisors

Was Kanye West's Former Publicist Indicted Alongside Trump in Georgia Election Case?

"These claims were true. They refer to a woman named Trevian C. Kutti who, in late 2020, claimed to represent law enforcement officials to election worker Ruby Freeman in an effort, prosecutors say, to compel a false statement of election fraud from her. That story, first reported by Reuters in December 2021, describes those actions, which were captured on video:"

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/kanye-former-publicist-indicted/

Here's a reminder about the accusation levelled against these 2 workers:

Georgia poll workers accused in Trump-backed conspiracy theories cleared of election fraud allegations

Allegations of election fraud against two Georgia election workers who became the subjects of a Trump-backed conspiracy theory in the aftermath of the 2020 election were found to be "false and unsubstantiated," according to an investigative report released Tuesday by the Georgia Elections Board.

Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Wandrea "Shaye" Moss, both former election workers from Fulton County, faced threats of violence from conspiracy theorists after their election-night conduct on a polling place livestream proliferated online among right-wing election deniers who believed Donald Trump won the 2020 election.

Yep the rat-pack including King Rat Donald himself have about 10 days to present themselves for charging and processing.

State prosecution in Georgia - He can't pardon himself or be pardoned by any President for a conviction.

Minimum jail time for the huge and comprehensive list of offences in the charges is 5 years.

Nitwits like Sidney Powel are gunna see some cell time I think.

As for the Orange Pukefest, if the US judicial system doesn't throw him in jail (and for considerable years to boot) then you can truly say bye bye to "the great experiment".

The now, writ large, open emergence and declaration of the dystopian anarchic intentions (loudly voiced by sitting Senators e.g. Matt Gaetz speaking alongside Trump the other day that violent overturning the rule of Law was now the ONLY means to further GOP/MAGA rightist nightmare).

The entire GOP legislature, with access to future control of the military (if it infects the White House) offers up to its Master the fascistic evangelical right, which is alive, well, and incredibly powerful in US culture.

Giving this perverse quasi-religious cult, a mechanism to actualise with all its sicko might turning America into a real Handmaids Tale and in doing so plunging the entire world into an a place of anarchic evil even todays bizarre worlds events would pale to.

Also on November 21, 2020 Georgia's GOP governor and top GOP officials certified that Biden won the state's 16 presidential electoral votes for POTUS!

I suspect that some of Trump's lawyers who he stiffed (non payment of legal fees) are going to cooperate with the authorities.

`I think so...........................

Trump stiffed his alleged co-conspirators, whose false claims brought in $250 million

Several of former President Donald Trump's allies, including Rudy Giuliani, who are now facing criminal charges for helping him try to overturn the results of the 2020 election were never paid by the Trump political operation for work they did in late 2020.
The failure to pay Giuliani and his team came up last week in a private interview between special counsel Jack Smith's team and Bernard Kerik, a Giuliani associate, according to an attorney for Kerik.
Trump and his allies raised $250 million off false claims that were peddled nationwide by people including Giuliani and Kerik, the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot said.

Let's assume that DJT is found guilty of every charge and sent to prison for...X amount of years. Another GOP candidate rises up with a similar program! Will the DOJ, FBI, CIA and sundry others continue the legal process against any GOP or third party candidates?

Obviously, the DNC intends to rule forever, the minorities will be manipulated until there is an internal schism...then what?

Everybody gets the result they deserved!!!
