PATTANI, Aug 29 (TNA) – Authorities have sealed off entry and exit routes to the site where an ambush and a bombing occurred last night, killing three officials and leaving five others injured.

 

A group of suspected insurgents planted an explosive and launched an attack on police and defence volunteers in Yarang district while they were on patrol, overseeing the safety of the public.

 

This led to a confrontation lasting over 30 minutes.
