Popular Post GammaGlobulin Posted September 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2023 Guys… GUYS! WHAT are you guys THINKING! How much do they pay you guys to walk around Thailand like Human Billboards? Any day of the week, just walk along the road, and you will see guys advertising almost anything and everything under the sun. Why do YOU guys do this? How much are they paying you? I, for one, wouldn’t be CAUGHT DEAD with advertising on me, or on my clothing, or on my shoes. Well, sometimes I am forced to have a Nike logo on my athletic shoes. But I never wore brands on my Bostonians. How much are these companies paying you??? Do you just do what everyone ELSE does? Can’t you even think for yourselves, and tell these companies that your body and your personal space is…YOURS! Here is what I mean. This guy here seems to be advertising the VW Bus. But does he get paid for doing so?: I hope you guys can please add a few examples to prove my point. It seems that EVERYBODY and his BROTHER are walking around Thailand advertising, for free, almost any kind of product or service, and publicizing all sorts of logos and brands, and they do it for FREE, with no thought or caring… Like ZOMBIES! Like the WALKING DEAD! It’s like their brains have come to a complete halt. They just wear whatever they are told to wear. Where do they even FIND this apparel, ANYWAY??? So please help me out. Help prove my point here. Upload some examples here. Thank you. I appreciate it. Gamma 4 6 1 2 3

London Lowf Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Yes, it's technically advertising but does anyone take a blind bit of notice? During the daytime I wear dirt-cheap football shirts from the local market, just like Somchai wears. They're covered in branding (including Durex and Pornhub on a couple) but they're nice and bright to match my flambouyant personality, easy to wash, last for ever, and I think they're funny. However, none of my evening shirts or shorts are branded. 1

About yourself. Therefore, I completely agree with your sartorial choices. 1 1 1
London Lowf Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 PS: In Thailand (and many other countries) the low-level designer stuff is fake anyway so it kind of defeats the wholed point!
LaosLover Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I wear the polo shirts with the little alligator on it. Relatedly, I saw an alligator in a store asking if they had a shirt with an over-paying sucker on it. 2
Shop mak Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I wear my birth suit every day. Gamma... Quality more than quantity. Fine dining more than street food. Shoes more than sandals. Car more than motorcycle. House more than condo. Educated lady more than a slut. There is a point above, somewhere... and the sabattical you wrote about, was rather short lived .. 8 hours ago, GammaGlobulin said: Nobody pays me NOT to post. You can be the first... we might dear older brother: I noticed that when you reply to others topic, you are a total different person. You research or know and add proof links to your posts, that are really helpful and interesting (can't believe I said that) Would you kindly consider to do the same, when you create a new topic? Quality content + interesting for many people. Spandex etc not beeing one of them. Nor todays this OP. And ... while I may have your attention, 99,9% of others OP, they only write 1 post only ----- while you often have post #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 ... I actually think once you had 7 or 8 first posts. (Made me think: do he actually want replies, or is he only talking with himself) If you took 2-3 hours away from the keyboard after your first and only post, (rather than drowning the readers with another 5,000 words) I think you would get more meaningful replies, rather than all the jokes that get posted in replies to your OP. Reply to others OP is your Forte. Creating interesting OP, def. not. If your 'glass is half full' then you take this posts as it was ment. However, if you are 'half empty glass type of guy-, then I'm scrxxxed now. Love Ya, brother

I've never worn advertising clothes. IMO the walking dead are more intelligent than the sheeple.

LaosLover Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Polo is the better shirt (partic for fatties) over all, but La Coste has the colors. These shirts last. Usually 2-3 years and then another couple for gym usage. A Century Department store shirt is good for a year. An MBK bootleg, about 20 washes. 1
Walker88 Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I cannot think of it offhand, but the Thais have a word for discreet elite brands that have no logo and only the wearer knows. Two examples are Brioni and Stefano Ricci. Back before I became gainfully unemployed (okay, I own a business in Thailand, but just for fun and a Non-B Business Visa), I used to wear both, Brioni suits and the Stefano Ricci shirts, plus Ricci or Brioni ties. I still have a closet-full of both, as they last, never go out of fashion, and I've maintained my fighting weight. I wear the shirts occasionally, but have precious little need to wear suits now. The only clothing I have that is logo'd are gym shorts and gym shoes. I don't care for logos, as they seem noisy. Neither do I like the clothes with silly, bad grammar sayings that are so popular in Japan, like "Be the One who forever, Life can be, as you were, do now. Energy". I have seen some funny sayings on clothes here. There is a Thai guy who works out in the same gym who sometimes wears a t-short that says "Eat More Pussy". I was visiting a temple and saw a praying, young, well-endowed Thai woman with a t-shirt that said, "Stop Staring at My Tits". I thought that possibly inappropriate for a temple, but what do I know? 1

The Polo shirts last way longer and look better years after your crappy no label stuff. Like another poster said you need to understand quality ( of well made cloths with labels) over quantity ( your stuff) ????

Xonax Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 The below shirt is advertised at around THB 90,000. I would ask to be paid the same amount a month to wear it. 2
