GammaGlobulin
My Friends, Do you ever get the feeling that the thrill is gone? How do you counteract these negative feelings? Any thoughts? (Any thoughts besides...listening to BB King?) I think our friends are now returning.... Nothing remains the same. Life, by its very nature, is always evolving. Natural Selection, and all that.... 1

Grew up with all kinds offirearms and hunting devices, and got to play quite a bit in the army, and was the Operator of Carl Gustav 84mm rocket launcher, as well my brother who worked with firearms Import, got som heavy duty rifles, revolvers and pistols during his time to play with, I never got a kick out of firing one. It was more to be faster, safer and better under stress. Dismantling and put together again was more fun. I think everything I have done in life, was about getting better and feel in control especially under difficult situations. Same with sports where you could get hurt badly, or die, it was ore about controlling when you first discovered you where ble to do it, and control the fear. I got my fix by controlling something difficult. Maybe that's why a Isaan lifestyle attracts me ???? It is almost impossible to control the environment around you.

Given your love of environmental instability, you should move to the East Coast of Taiwan. You will enjoy never-ending earthquakes and typhoons, soon after arrival. Take your Thai GF with you, too. Popular Post spidermike007
You find a passion. Anything that does not harm yourself or others. You stay engaged. It requires a little bit of work sometimes. But, without passion, being conscious and present, and engaged, you might as well just surrender and die. Life has to be fulfilling, or else what is the point? 2

That means everyone, not only other expats we had been hanging out with, but also the locals. Now 3 years later, a few new houses have been built on other farmlands, most likely because we did. It's a whole new kick, and will take you a while to lose the thrill...at which point you can move up to turboprop, pressurized cabins, flying above FL180. So very interesting that you should mention this... Just because... I now have BB KING cranked up so loud (with my 10 loudspeakers)... That I can feel BB KING's guitar vibrating my balls. This is what I call interesting. I FEEL the RESONANCE. MY BALLS ARE NOW RESONATING.... Not sure the exact frequency.... (I think it must be my two SUBWOOFERs that are making my Oysters wobble.)
