I don't disagree with much of what you wrote. I don't accept Israel has committed any war crimes, but other than that, you and I are pretty much on the same page. I fully believe criticism of the Israeli government's actions is not always antisemitic. In its working definition of antisemitism, the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance wrote " ... criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic." https://holocaustremembrance.com/resources/working-definition-antisemitism Hundreds of posts on AN are critical of Israel and Israelis. Very few of them cross the line into antisemitism, but it does happen and it's those posts that should be reported to the Mods. My post had been prompted by a particularly vile post that had just been taken down by a Mod. I wanted to emphasize the right way to respond to such posts is to report them and not to engage with the poster directly.
