Are these people stark raving mad?
The push to leave France and the pull to get to the UK is obviously huge for a variety of factors. Fast processing and returning of those ineligible to remain seems to be an option....but streamlining this, opens the gates to further immigration. Politicians recognise that they have no effective solution other than to slow things down.......restricting access to the UK via a perilous journey 'works'.....it might not seem like it.....but it does limit the numbers considerably. I doubt there will be any great change in the current situation for sometime. -

Right? Theory and practice are not always the same. Right? Theory and practice are not always the same. When you’re new to the system, with the 800K method, you only have to prove two months prior, but once you’re in the system you’ve got to prove 12 months prior. The 800k/400k/800k over the past year. If you’re new to the system with the affidavit method, they aren’t looking at the past. Your affidavit just says “That’s what this guy gets every month.” -
