1 Year Extension of Stay, Timing of Bank Documents (PHUKET)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

So next week going for the usual 1 year Extension of Stay to my Custodian to Thai Child Visa.

Now I usually get this wrong so please help out if poss.

I go to SCB, get the required letter stating amount, and statement for in my case 1 month.

But I always seem to get the timings wrong on this.

Do I credit/debit say 100thb the morning before I ask SCB for the documents, but then sometimes they say it doesnt show up on the statements til later.

Should I do it the night/day/week before etc. If in case of week, dont use the account thereafter?

All tips greatly appreciated, I'm going for a 1 visit optimistic trip to Immigration but expect 3 to 4 trips!

And do I need to take my daughter with me now, last year a LIVE Video chat sufficed...

All the best,

Many thanks...

Regards,

SB.

Re the small deposit to show activity on day of application (some offices want this).

You can obtain bank letter same visit.

If your office requires bank statement you can obtain that early.

Never heard of issue with statement balance different from balance that includes deposit and update on the day of application..
