I understand the OP, I tried a few places and experienced the same, maybe they are a little rustic or artesian, idk?

I like PRIME from the Buriram Pie Man, I gather they are made in Pattaya, I wouldn't say they are gourmet but I like them for a quick meal when we are pushed for time.

What is your ideal version of that plate then?

That dish?

I think you'd need to be working class and British to appreciate that epicurean delight.

Myself I'd at least not have put the sausage's atop what I presume to be mashed potatoes. The gravy doesn't do it any favors either.

Where's the green vegetables for that heart attack?

The price list says valid from 2017. Have they changed?

Then I downloaded it and it says

'RETAIL product and price list from 01 Jan 2020 (03 Jan 2020)'    WTF does that mean in 2023?

I consider myself to be somewhat of a sausage and English breakfast aficionado.  The best breakfast available is cooked daily by yours truly.

After more than 14 years of research, I can attest that the best sausages available are from Manston.  Their English breakfast pork sausages are probably the best, but I only have these sage and red onion ones in the fridge at the moment.

For clarification, they don't come anywhere near the quality and flavour of the many brands of boutique style sausages available to me at home. But they are miles ahead of the tasteless plastic skinned dogfood otherwise available in Thailand supermarkets.

Just using fancy names like 'Epicure' doesn't necessarily make a product better than, say, Prime.  Manstons and Prime are as good as anything available locally.

Hav'nt you got a freezer then.

Silly answer, of course I have, but to wait six weeks is not on.

It is HAVEN'T, by the way, short for HAVE NOT.

Come on, knock the Grammar/spelling Police of which I am one.

With care, one can find some delicious sausages here, but you do have to pick and choose between brands for the best of a specific type. But...

... to date, I have NOT found a single producer making Cumberland or Italian sausage with a large grind. Almost all are ground too smooth, like cheap fish hotdogs.  If I want the grind to be correct, I have to make them myself. Easy enough to do, but it's a shame none are sold that way.
