Comer: there’s ‘overwhelming evidence’ Biden’s involved in Hunter’s business dealings

The only question is whether they can bury it until after the next election.

It will surface in the end, just like Hunters laptop.

History will not be kind to the crimes of the Biden's and their deluded supporters.

just the reverse, it will all be forgotten after November 2024, just like Hillary's emails, and Benghazi.

Sounds like a repeat of the arguments about Hunters laptop prior to the previous election.

It will all surface in the end. Probably too late for the average working class American who just wants a competent cognizant leader.

As for arguments elsewhere, that individual doesn't have the might of the Democrat misinformation machine backing him up.

there is no laptop.

Off topic.

There's no shortage of Trump threads on AN.

Off-topic?  Like Hunter Biden's laptop?

The problem with the "laptop" is that Joe Biden was out of office for 3 years when the "laptop" was invented.

Yes I believe that Biden will be found guilty. Time will tell.

Your Jesus obsession is puzzling but not unusual for doomsday cultists.

Climate scientists, whom you childishly call doomsday cultists, have a great record of success in their predictions. But that's because they rely on evidence. Believers such as yourself, just like religious fanatics, have an unbroken record of denial of the evidence and getting it wrong. Whether it's about anthropogenic climate change or Joe Biden's alleged criminality.

Aren't you concerned that no evidence has been presented yet?

"Yet" being the operative word.

I'm not concerned. I'm happy to wait, just as I did with Hunters laptop and Clinton's lies about Lewinski. The Democrats are experts at burying things, they have a lot of experience.

As with the examples above, it will all rise to the surface eventually. The only question is when. Tick Tock.

But, as of this moment, you haven't seen any evidence provided under oath within this inquiry. Right?

Comer: "We're going to show . . . "

If they had something to show they would do so instead of saying this sort of thing.  An example of just how stupid these politicians think the American people are.  (Umm, apparently some of them actually are!)

Brings to mind something I saw in a Brazilian gentlemen's club.

I was chatting with an American guy who just had a session and was apparently waiting for his "2nd wind."  He had his lady picked out, she was clinging to him and every few minutes she'd tell him "let's go."  This guy was over 50, he kept stalling her with lines like "just wait, I'm gonna do to you stuff that . . . " etc.

There is talk of replacing Comer with Jim Jordan.

Oh, if a republican politician from Kentucky said it on the fox news entertainment network. It must be true.

Unlike that other idiot republican politician who said, "We are trying to impeach Biden, but we don't have any evidence"

There is also chatter Jordan could be nominated for Speaker of the House.  DT has never said a bad word regarding him.  He is a bully and a coward.  When they tried to put him on the 1/6 committee last year, Liz Cheney said not possible because he may be called as a material witness; he may have pooped his pants upon hearing that.

No matter, ain't gonna happen.

Well Mr Comer, if you have all this evidence then I suggest that you put in a ,motion for impeachment.

Alternatively put the evidence before a grand jury.

If you don't have sufficient proof the stop YOUR witch hunt.

Either put the governments money where your mouth is, or shut up.

I find it somewhat amusing that now it's against Biden it's not a good idea to investigate, when just a few short years ago it was all OK to investigate the other guy multiple times to no avail.

Seems some posters want it all one way.

No. It's coming if they stay the course. They only just started the investigation with subpoena power.

When I asked why charges were so slow coming related to a different person your side had multiple reasons why they were taking so long.

There's plenty of strong evidence against Trump. Nothing like that against Biden

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) said he thinks there is “overwhelming evidence” that President Biden is involved in his son Hunter Biden’s business schemes.

Comer is the Chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, which held its first hearing Thursday to weigh evidence into impeaching Biden.

“There’s overwhelming evidence that Joe Biden was involved in all of these shady business schemes. That’s a problem. That’s a threat to our national security,” Comer said on Fox News Thursday. “We’re going to continue to move forward and follow the money.”

Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) launched an impeachment inquiry into Biden after Republicans alleged the president and his son profited from foreign business deals.

Comer said the evidence the committee does have includes bank wires that show “Biden took $20 million from foreign nationals in at least five different countries.”

“They can’t say one thing they did to earn that $20 million,” Comer said. “We also have evidence that they started 20 shell companies. They used these shell companies to receive the wires from the foreign nationals.”

Comer said on Thursday that he signed the subpoena for Biden’s personal bank accounts because, unlike Hunter Biden, the president “has flown under the radar because, quite frankly, he didn’t leave a laptop laying around.”

Each of the witnesses testifying during the hearing said that there was not enough evidence yet to impeach Biden.

Now that the government shutdown has been averted, for the time being, the clown car can continue to wobble on down the road.

We outside observers can continue to tune in to watch from time to time, to see which bits will fall off next.

Such a rich cast, this fellow with the sculpted silver hair, the looney in shirtsleeves, Gaetz popping up in the background like Banquos ghost, the blonde bimbo with a gob, Lauren "cop a feel, anything else is extra", Kevin "give me the gavill" McCarthey looking like a rabbit in the headlights...

And so much provable evidence was found against Trump.

How much provable evidence has been found against President Biden by the the various republican 'oversight committees' since they started their investigations?

All the investigating committees have to do, is to bring it to a grand jury, and if they find it proven, they can bring it to the DoJ with a recommendation to prosecute.

Why have they not done so?

What a surprise from you.

It is coming, just wait a while.

I am fed up with the same old same old message from you as it NEVER seems to materialise.

You're still waiting for Trump's healthcare plan, right?

How about Infrastructure week?

Or the proof the 2020 election was stolen....

You could do it on one of the Trump threads. Because this thread is about Biden's shady dealings...

Baselessly alleged shady dealings.

When I said that about the retained documents situation, I was assured by your side that it was necessary to get as much info as possible before proceeding.

I guess that is as good a reason as any in this case.

Hell, I'm still waiting for Hillary's evidence that 2016 was stolen.  And she's still out there claiming it was.  Saw her last week in an interview with Psaki...  Maybe 2 weeks ago.

Could be the title on the link:  election interference, he'll do it again.

Could be this statement:  "Part of the reason he worked so hard against me is because he didn’t think that he wanted me in the White House.

Or this one:  "I don’t think, despite all of the deniers, there is any doubt that he interfered in our election,

The deniers, BTW, include the FBI agents who investigated and found nothing there.

After nearly two years, Mueller’s more-than $30 million investigation yielded no evidence of criminal conspiracy or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election.

"The country has a right to know the answer to this question, ‘How is it that after $30 million, the fact that the Clinton campaign falsely initiated the investigation was omitted from their report?’"

Hillary's point is that Trump won with Russian help, not that there was voter fraud.

And you know that Trump's campaign manager delivered polling data to the Russians so they could micro-target voters.

In the classified documents case, Trump was given a subpoena to return classified documents that the FBI knew he had. Comer wants to engage in a fishing expedition to try to find something.

Not the same.
