snoop1130
Pheu Thai’s party-list MP Adisorn Piengkes said today (Monday) he and other MPs will propose an urgent motion to the House of Representatives, questioning the suitability of Padipat Suntiphada to remain as deputy House speaker. The veteran MP, who is also the government’s chief whip, said that he and Chousak Sirinil, another party-list MP and legal advisor to the Pheu Thai party, have agreed that the “expulsion” of Padipat from the Move Forward party last week was not in accordance the party’s regulations. The party’s regulations clearly state that a member can only be expelled if they have committed a gross disciplinary or ethical violation or committed a serious wrongdoing. Brickleberry
Forgive me for being stupid, but it shouldn't matter from which party they come from, right? The speaker of the house and his deputies are supposed to be impartial in all matters, and are not allowed to be executive members of a political party. Therefore, it shouldn't matter which party they come from. That being said, up 'till now, the MFP has been an example to how things should be done. By breaking/bending the rules to kick out the deputy speaker from the party, they're starting to look like the others.
Popular Post Denim
Et tu Brute ? Oh well. No surprise really. The daggers are out and looking for blood.. The way things are going it is unlikely that Move Forward will survive long enough to contest the next election. Far too dangerous to established interests. As for Phua Thai they should look at what happened to the Democrats after they snuggled up to the military to get into the driving seat. Too late for them now. Populist policies cannot wash away the stain of sleeping with the enemy. 2
Popular Post ikke1959
Everything should be done to prevent MFP being part of the government. They are a threat to the sitting establishment. And the pheu Thai..... they showed their real face already and now again. They are really bad losers. But the MFP is the only party that would have helped Thailand and it's people. Not the ones now in power, they only will enrich themselves more 3

While I tend to agree this little move pales in comparison to what others have done, a list of which would be too long and nauseating to post here. What I am loving however is the holier than thou response from the gutter dwellers who contibute to the above list. 2
