Thaksin Underwent Surgery, Now Recuperating: Corrections Dept

THE CORRECTIONS Department said this evening (Oct. 23) that de facto Pheu Thai boss Thaksin Shinawatra underwent an operation at Police Hospital’s orthopaedic operation room and is now recuperating in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Matichon newspaper said.

 

As informed by the Bangkok Remand Prison Thaksin was in the operation room from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. after which he was taken to NICU.

 

The department ordered the head of Bangkok Remand Prison to go to the hospital to check the performance of duties and maintain order.

I'm starting to think that he timed his return to go to jail so he could get free healthcare for some stuff that needs taking care of and since he is going to be laid up, he might as well do it while serving his sentence until his early release.

They might as well just let him out.

 

He has no intention of spending any time in jail and this was obviously pre-agreed before his return.

 

The rest of it just makes the government and corrections system look like fools to think they are being believed in any shape or form by the Thai people.

 

This is why the Move Forward party slaughtered them in the elections. However, rampant corruption wouldn't allow the people's choice into power.

 

A royal pardon takes years, he got it in a week!

 

To achieve a prisoner's exemplary status takes a minimum of 18 months, and he got it in six hours.

Orthopaedic unit? Must have had a bunion removed. Ohh that is serious. When that’s healed nicely he have the other side done which should about get him to the finish line.
