Recommended Nephrologist in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hi,

I will most likely need a kidney biopsy and investigation done for my Kidney problems.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a Nephrologist (kidney specialist) in Chiang Mai?

The link to Sriphat hospital provided to you earlier is easily your best route. Sriphat is the private hospital wing of the CMU Hospital called Maharaj which is a 1,500 bed hospital that houses the best of medical care in the North. The specialists at Sriphat are mostly CMU faculty staff and are Assoc/Assist Professors.

Moved to health forum.

Suggest one of these:

https://www.siphhospital.com/en/medical-services/doctor-biography?id=171

https://www.siphhospital.com/en/medical-services/doctor-biography?id=577

https://www.siphhospital.com/en/medical-services/doctor-biography?id=180

All 3 trained in the West (UK, US and Canada respectively), have published in peer reviewed journals and hold faculty appointments at CMU.

Thank you for all your advice, appreciate it!

For now, ill stay in Chiang Mai and deal with this, but later on Bangkok might be an option.

If money is not a concern, the very best is at Bumrungrad Hospital in BKK

Can highly recommend a nephrologist at Bumrungrad.

While fees for standard tests are fixed, his fees are very moderate. He will not sell you anything not needed. He listens to the patient & he asks questions. Not common with Thai doctors.
