Just put the phrase "climate change" at the front of any grant or funding request, and it's magically approved.

Scientists wanting funding to study, erm, squirrels just re-name their project "squirrel foraging habits adapting to climate change", and they get their money, e.g.

Someone is paying for all this..

intended to fund various projects addressing climate change impacts.

These billions may be intended for good works but much of it will be creamed off - like the Tsunami Charity donations that never reached the victims but were used by big business to grab prime land.

Someone somewhere must be rubbing their hands with glee, thinking all their Christmas's have come early.

Thailand should invest in more, bigger solar projects for a start. Offer better incentives to encourage domestic solar installation as well.

Tighten up on diesel emissions too. Far too many vehicles spewing thick, black smoke.

why? Germany thinks Thailand cares about the climate? hopefully the money buys machinery so the sugarcane farmers won't burn up the skies half the year, otherwise a colossal donation for corruption
