There is absolutely no difference between drinking in the morning and drinking at night.

Only if you have nothing useful to do during daytime.

I wonder if you are not sitting at your computer desk with a cup of tea and wife in the next room who you love dearly and with whom you will share a sherry before bed time.

Or with mum having lunch.

2 pints in already

15,000 in the back burner,

taking it easy.

Have you done any beer drinking exercises? and a bit of stretching?

You do not want to jump in these things cold. You might pull something.

Wise words indeed. You could do yourself a mischief. I'm having an afternoon in the bar with a few beers. By way of precaution I've had a "warm up" can of Singha at home to ensure I do not encounter such problems.

Well I'm a normal human so I drank a hot coffee as quick as I can and eat some revolting Thai donuts for my breakfast.

It was raining and I didn't want to walk far so I had mama for lunch.  And another <deleted> weird 'sponge donut' this time.

Just imagine having a wife, and also having enough money left over to go out on the razz once in a while with all the various options for company that go along with being out and about, yet still feeling so lonely that you feel the need to announce your extremely mundane plan to a bunch of strangers on a webforum.

Poor Bob :(

I agree - you just can't beat a morning beer.

Indeed. The great Jim Morrison said it himself in this ultimate beer-drinking classic.

I used to work the graveyard shift and one bar in town would open at 6am for us.  We were having a well deserved happy hour after work while surrounded by lifelong alcoholics who took advantage of the early hour opening.
