PETERTHEEATER Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 How are ship-to-shore transfers carried out? Conveyor belt? Jetski mafia? 2
sikishrory Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 There's much nicer areas in Phuket to see than the meat market of Patong. What have they got to look forward to there. Gazillions of tourists. Clogged up traffic and getting harassed and ripped off constantly by tuk tuks, massage girls, touts, jetskis. Basically everyone. 1

They send them ashore in their own large tenders. They have a little dock right down the southern end of the beach. Shuttles seem to run constantly last time i saw it 1
expat_4_life Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 "Lambs to the slaughter" ... Or, Did the tourists receive their on cruise briefing about "how to avoid trouble", so they would know "exactly where to go"?
