Chanthaburi—In a chilling act of revenge, a scorned young man, haunted by the memories of his past relationship, shot his new girlfriend and then turned the gun on himself, succumbing to his wounds in a desperate attempt to escape guilt.

On December 5, local authorities reported a shooting incident that claimed two lives and left one injured in a residence in Chak Thai, Khao Kitchakood, Chanthaburi, reported Daily News.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the assailant, identified as Wanchai, had a tumultuous history with his former lover, Miss A. Shortly after Miss A started a new relationship with Kannapoj, Wanchai discovered the couple living together in the house where they once shared memories.

Driven by jealousy and rage, Wanchai executed a brutal act of revenge, firing seven shots that resulted in Kannapoj's tragic demise. The incident also left Miss A injured and in a state of shock. Authorities, responding promptly, discovered the crime scene, with Wanchai's lifeless body near the entrance and Kannapoj's body inside, both bearing gunshot wounds.

The motive behind Wanchai's violent intrusion appears to stem from the recent breakup and the revelation that Miss A had moved on with Kannapoj. Despite the presence of security cameras at the residence, Wanchai managed to enter without prior planning, likely fueled by the immediate surge of emotions upon discovering the new couple cohabitating.

This tragic love triangle serves as a somber reminder of the dangers of unaddressed emotions and the consequences of unresolved relationships.

Thai soaps in real life.... do the soaps copy real life or does real life copy the soaps?????

Why shoot his new girlfriend? Lets hope she makes a full recovery. At least he's dead.

Why was his new G/F in the same residence? or is this just bad reporting as usual?.

Man, who writes this crap? It reads like a really bad Harlequin Romance novel.

Actually this love triangle tragedy serves as a somber reminder that Thais are unable to control their emotions and act out severely with disregard for other life when they lose something they want to claim is theres. Foreigners beware haha..
