Popular Post webfact Posted December 5, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 5, 2023 December 5, 2023, Police Lieutenant Yutthanat Chinthongprasert, an investigator based at Bangsri Muang Police Station, was notified about a collision involving a trailer and a car. The incident occurred in front of the municipal office near Bang Krawang City, situated along the Nonthaburi 1 Bypass Road in Bang Krawang Subdistrict, Nonthaburi Province, reported Siam Rath. Acting swiftly, local authorities, in collaboration with volunteer members of the Pote Kitekung Foundation, and supported by tow trucks and cranes, quickly arrived at the location to conduct an immediate inspection. Picture: Siam Rath In response to the report, a coordinated effort was made to assess the situation and provide necessary assistance. The collaborative response involving law enforcement, volunteer organizations, and specialized equipment aimed to ensure the safety of those involved and manage the aftermath of the collision effectively. CCTV footage clearly captured the moment when the 22-wheel trailer veered across the road, colliding forcefully with a green Nissan March car. The impact resulted in injuries to the car's occupants. Preliminary investigations suggest that the trailer driver, possibly fatigued or under the influence, fell asleep at the wheel while tailing the car. Picture: Siam Rath The incident unfolded as the trailer, registered in Nonthaburi, lost control and crossed lanes from the exit side of the Jatujak Bondindra Bridge, striking the oncoming Nissan March from Bangkok. The injured occupants, identified as Mr. Jakarin (surname withheld) and Miss Nattaya (surname withheld), believed to be a couple, were trapped inside the car. Rescuers used cutting tools for over an hour before successfully extracting them and transferring them to Phra Nangklao Hospital. Meanwhile, the trailer driver managed to flee the scene during the chaos. Can't let the side down, run run run. He will be found completely sober and no trace of drugs, with the usual excuse "I panicked " The slack driving rules here will continue here as will the carnage, no limits on driving time, no Tachographs, the new ones can not be tampered with, they have downloadable data, they come on as soon as the engine is started.
