"Cutting diesel prices by 2.50 baht per litre" Great - easy to understand if you own a vehicle that runs on diesel!
"Revamping petrol prices" Not so easy to understand  - what does "revamping" mean if you have a vehicle that runs on petrol?

Somebody will have to pay for all hs?   Any ideas who hat might be.

Same as when Covid hit the UK and all those lucky people got paid to sit at home on their bums instead of working - I believe it was called "furlough" and I (and no doubt many others) said at the time "Somebody's gonna have to pay!":

"11.7 million employee jobs were furloughed through the scheme, at a cost of £70 billion.Dec 23, 2564 BE"

Now where did the money for that come from? A hint - look at the current prices of EVERYTHING in the UK now!

You didn’t read it correctly did you 😎

If people would read the text below the photo, it states that the below list is what they have been planning for the last 90 days……Not to recover the economy in the following 90 days.

Oh yes, Thailand, favor one country with a free 90 day visa. Russia is at war, and yet you want to

favor that country? The rest of the world will remember your policy.

Be realistic, the world's citizens are pragmatic and don't give a $hit.

Silly schemes abound in the West as well. You get 'raped' as a working person in the West. You can't pillage from the poor they haven't got anything to take. Every 3 months, what a grind.

I was a small town high school educated, no college lower-middle class kid raised by a single mom (deadbeat dad) in Florida. Retired a $1.5 millionaire at 59 from a great job if 35 years. That ain't happening here...ever. There's just absolutely no comparison...not even close. Proverbial apples to oranges.

How they "pillage" from the poor here is by offering no gainful employment, even with a Uni education. An indentured servant labor force who stoke the economy with their slave labor, but never get a fair shake or an equitable reward. Keeping them poor and forever in debt...mountains of it. No real chance to ever get ahead. Those chances are plentiful in the West, if the person is responsible wants it...but not here.

From rags to riches in the west (for some) may have been true once but times have changed, in Europe and America most people live from pay cheque to pay cheque, rents have become almost unaffordable let alone buying a house. The amount of wealth has already been carved up and the greater part belongs to very few, the majority can scramble for the left over crumbs. This is why politics is becoming so extreme, people are starting to vote for extreme left or extreme right, any demagogue who will promise to clear away the swamp seems better than the status quo, there is no room for discourse any more. Politically Thailand's constraints are more open, there is no shame and so no need for the grey Eminence in the shadows who really control. Wealth disparity in Thailand is no different except that the people in general seem happier than those in the west. As for debt, that is usually a choice, although in America especially, many are having to use their credit cards at 20% interest just for basics whereas in Thailand it is for commodities, like a motorbike or a smart phone, the basics are mostly taken care of. Wealth disparity in the whole world is huge, it doesn't matter where one lives. History has shown that when it gets too great the guillotine gets erected or dictatorships in the guise of communism sweeps through the land compounding the misery. We live in interesting times.

Nope...just a pretty intelligent, well raised, responsible, hard working dude who ultimately made some good money and invested it wisely. Took full advantage of both tax-deferred and after-tax IRAs and 401k. Read some excellent books on investing and watched lots of CNBC and Bloomberg. Still do.

Always lived within my means. Never wanted, nor had, those parasites called "kids" and never married. Three key ingredients to wealth accumulation and early retirement. Nothing unusual and nothing to prove. It's a common and achievable goal for anyone with a couple more key ingredients...a brain and responsible determination. 👍
