Two retired naval officers were arrested in Bangkok this morning by Crime Suppression Division (CSD) police on murder charges, in connection with the death of a Taiwanese national.

Another Taiwanese man was also arrested for allegedly hiring the other two suspects, a former rear admiral and a captain, to murder his own son.

Led by Pol Maj-Gen Montri Thetkhan, commander of the CSD, officers surrounded a house in the Lat Krabang area, which belongs to the retired rear admiral, and told him to come out because they had a court-issued arrest warrant for him.

From the link:

A CSD source says that they had received a complaint from a Taiwanese man, claiming that he had received a death threat from some retired naval officers, prompting the CSD to launch an investigation. The complainant was later found dead and is believed to have been the victim of a contract murder, allegedly involving his own father

Investigation was a tad slow for the poor fella.
