Are U saying I could have HIV?

What are the symptoms?

@Ralf001 is very good. He's a frequent contributor over in the motors forum too.

"What does it mean when your monocytes are high?
A high monocyte level may indicate inflammation, infection, blood disorders, and other health issues. Along with other types of white blood cells, monocytes are a key element of your immune response. High levels can result from a range of issues, including: leukemia."

"Should I be worried if my monocytes are high?
A high monocyte count is a potential sign of many different medical conditions. It's often linked to infectious diseases like mononucleosis or an autoimmune disease like lupus. Some medications can cause monocytosis. It's also linked to conditions such as blood disorders and certain cancers."

Google (and your doctor) is your friend.

It says I could have leukaemia or Tuberculosis !!!

I'm finding a new GP clinic these ones are not taking me seriously trying to talk me out of blood tests !

Look down... is your leg still there ??...    Monocytes can be elevated after amputation...

If your leg is still there, check yer nether regions - given posting history, you could have lost your manhood...  :whistling:  :giggle:

It's a sign of chronic infection of some kind.

I doubt it is leukemia, there would be other parameters affected, and the rest of the readings are in the normal range.

You should be talking to a doctor, not getting yourself wound up on here

Iam not the fool getting blood tests once a month and then asking a forum about the results so best you be directing your opinion to the OP.

I'd wait till next month's test and compare.   Being you WBC went from 8-6-9, I doubt it would be HIV+, or anything serious.  If it is something serious, then you are catching it early...maybe.

Simply means your immune system is a bit busier than most.   Why the monthly blood test, P4P & no condom use ?

Oh, I see.

I assumed your comment was the OP's, but I suppose he's not the only one on this thread Googling medical stuff and trying to play doctor.

I reckon he's trolling you guys anyway.

You are probably worrying about nothing, not even high, just borderline.

I have high Eosinophils, lab Dr basically said it's not unusual often caused by allergies, zero concern

Your white cell count is normal. It would be elevated if you had leukemia.

With chronic leukemia, patients can go for years without any ill effects.

Once a month is excessive, once a year is normal unless a health condition indicates a higher frequency of testing.

There's another Latin expression you should take on board.

Si tacuisses, philosophus mansisses.

I think 'Bigus Prickus' is more appropriate for the OP.
